About SiteCTRL
SiteCTRL builds a real, hosted website from one plain-English description — and then keeps editing it the same way, for as long as you own it.
The problem we picked
Getting a website built has never been the hard part. Keeping it current is. The agency that built it charges $150 and three days for a change of opening hours. The site builder hands you an editor you use twice a year and have to relearn every time. So the hours go stale, the new service never gets a page, and the site quietly stops being true.
We think the fix is a website you can talk to. Describe the change the way you'd text the person who normally does it — “change Saturday to 12–10”, “add a testimonials section”, “swap the hero photo” — and it happens, in minutes, without you learning anything.
Why two AIs, not one
The obvious fear about letting an AI touch a live business site is that it breaks something and you find out from a customer. So nothing an AI writes goes straight to your live site.
One agent does the work — it edits a private draft of your site. A second, separate agent reviews that draft before anything is published: what changed file by file, whether links still resolve, whether the pages still load, whether tracking and SEO survived. It can say no, and when it does, nothing ships and you get a plain explanation. A full snapshot is taken before every publish, so one click puts back exactly what was there before.
The editor and the reviewer are deliberately different roles. The reviewer has no ability to author changes — it can only check and publish. That separation is the point: an agent grading its own homework is not a safety check.
What's true today
We'd rather be believed later than impressive now, so here is the honest state of the product:
- Building and hosting works today. You can build a real site on the builder with no account and no card, and see it live on its own URL in about two minutes. Real examples, with the exact prompts that produced them, are on the examples page.
- Your site can do real work. Working contact and booking forms that reach your dashboard and your inbox, visitor accounts and members-only pages, saved sign-ups and orders, first-party analytics, custom domains with HTTPS, and email on your own domain.
- It connects to sites you already have. WordPress on any host, Shopify, Cloudflare Pages, SiteGround — edited the same way, published through the same review gate.
- Your AI assistant can drive it. SiteCTRL is on the official Model Context Protocol registry, so Claude, ChatGPT and other MCP clients can build and edit sites through it directly. See the MCP page.
- We are early, and growing fast. The growth side — search and ads data feeding a queue of suggested fixes you approve — is live in a first form and getting better weekly. When something on this page stops being true, we change the page.
Who it's for
People who need a website to be part of running a business, not a project to manage: local trades and services, restaurants and breweries, small shops, clubs and associations, independent professionals. If you have ever put off a website change because it wasn't worth the hassle, that is the exact problem this was built for.
How we make money
A flat monthly subscription, and nothing else. We don't sell your data, we don't take a cut of your sales, and we don't hold your site hostage — it's your content and your code, and you can take it with you. Your first website is free, with no card, because the fastest way to find out whether this works for you is to watch it build one. Details on the pricing page.
Talking to us
Email [email protected] and a human answers — we're small enough that support and the people building it are the same people. There's a help button inside the product on every page, and how we handle your data and access is written up separately.
