Moving off Weebly? Paste your address and see your site rebuilt.
Weebly's site archive leaves out blog and store pages, so SiteCTRL starts from the site you already publish: paste your address and it builds a new, hosted site from your words and photos. Then you change it just by describing what you want.

What Weebly lets you take with you
Taken from Weebly's own help center, with the page each line comes from. Checked 6 October 2026; help articles change, so confirm against the linked page before you rely on one.
- Weebly lets you download a ZIP archive of your site: in the site editor go to Settings > General, scroll to Archive, enter your email and select Email Archive. (Weebly Support: Back Up Your Site)
- Weebly says the archive can't be imported back into Weebly, but can be saved as an offline backup or used to recreate the site at another host. (Weebly Support: Back Up Your Site)
- Weebly says blog and store pages aren't included in the export because they rely directly on its database, and that some components, such as the Contact Form and Slideshow elements, may not work correctly outside the Weebly editor. (Weebly Support: Back Up Your Site)
How we do it without an export file
You don't need an export. Paste your address and we read what your public site says — your words, your photos, your contact details — and build a new site from it on our own templates, hosted and editable by chat. It is a new site, designed around your content, not a copy of your old one. Look it over before you do anything else; nothing is published to your domain until you choose to.
What a rebuild can't see is anything behind a login or a checkout on Weebly: orders, customer lists, bookings and private member areas. Use Weebly's own tools to take those out first.
See a site we built
Jade Mountain Kung Fu is a live site built by SiteCTRL from a written description, shared with the owner's permission. It is an example of what we build, not a Weebly rebuild — we don't publish a customer's old site next to the new one without their say-so, so your own before-and-after is the one you get by pasting your address above.
Then you can edit it by describing it
Say what you want changed. The AI makes the change on a private draft, a second AI reviews it, and nothing goes live until you publish. A snapshot is saved before every publish, so one click rolls it back.
FAQ
Can I export my whole site from Weebly?
Not completely. Weebly's own help article says its ZIP archive doesn't include blog and store pages, and that the Contact Form and Slideshow elements may not work outside the Weebly editor. SiteCTRL doesn't need the archive: it rebuilds from your public site.
What does SiteCTRL actually move?
It reads what your public site says — text, photos, contact details — and builds a new site from it on our own templates. It is a new site designed around your content, not a copy of your old design.
What can't it move?
Anything behind a login or checkout on Weebly: orders, customer lists, bookings and members-only content. Export those from Weebly using its own tools first.
Will my old site go down?
Not until you decide. The rebuild is a separate site on a SiteCTRL address. Nothing changes on your domain until you point it at the new site yourself.
What does it cost to try?
The first site is free, with no card. See the pricing page for paid plans.
Who edits the site afterwards?
You do, by describing the change. The AI makes it on a private draft, a second AI reviews it, and nothing goes live until you publish. A snapshot is saved before every publish so you can roll back in one click.
