Moving off Squarespace? Paste your address and see your site rebuilt.

Squarespace's export is a partial one, so SiteCTRL starts from the site you already publish: paste your address and it builds a new, hosted site from your words and photos. Then you change it just by describing what you want.

What Squarespace lets you take with you

How we do it without an export file

You don't need an export. Paste your address and we read what your public site says — your words, your photos, your contact details — and build a new site from it on our own templates, hosted and editable by chat. It is a new site, designed around your content, not a copy of your old one. Look it over before you do anything else; nothing is published to your domain until you choose to.

What a rebuild can't see is anything behind a login or a checkout on Squarespace: orders, customer lists, bookings and private member areas. Take those out of Squarespace with its own exports above.

See a site we built

Jade Mountain Kung Fuis a live site built by SiteCTRL from a written description, shared with the owner's permission. It is an example of what we build, not a Squarespacerebuild — we don't publish a customer's old site next to the new one without their say-so, so your own before-and-after is the one you get by pasting your address above.

FAQ

Can I export my whole site from Squarespace?

Not completely. Squarespace's own help page lists what its .xml export leaves out, including store pages, product blocks, drafts, style settings and custom CSS, and it exports only one blog page. SiteCTRL doesn't need the export file: it rebuilds from your public site.

What does SiteCTRL actually move?

It reads what your public site says — text, photos, contact details — and builds a new site from it on our own templates. It is a new site designed around your content, not a copy of your old design or CSS.

What can't it move?

Anything behind a login or checkout on Squarespace: orders, customer lists, bookings and members-only content. Export those from Squarespace using its own tools first.

Will my old site go down?

Not until you decide. The rebuild is a separate site on a SiteCTRL address. Nothing changes on your domain until you point it at the new site yourself.

What does it cost to try?

The first site is free, with no card. See the pricing page for paid plans.

Who edits the site afterwards?

You do, by describing the change. The AI makes it on a private draft, a second AI reviews it, and nothing goes live until you publish. A snapshot is saved before every publish so you can roll back in one click.
